Abgelaufene Veranstaltung !
From January 31 to February 6, 2026, the 14th edition of "Art on Snow Gastein" will take place. This unique art festival is one of the largest of its kind in the Alps and transforms the Gastein Valley into an impressive open-air art studio.
Under this year’s theme "Comic & Co", artists from a wide variety of styles present their works, which are spread across all Gastein ski areas and create a winter open-air studio. Due to weather conditions and the building materials snow and ice, the artworks are constantly changing.
Sculptures 2026:
- Batman and the Joker – Icy fronts. Spiegelsee at Fulseck, completed from 02/02/26
- Tom & Jerry – Sunshine in the snow. Reiterhütte near the mid-station of the Fulseck cable car, completed from 31/01/26
- The Silver Surfer – From the Marvel universe into the snow. Top station of the Schlossalm cable car, completed from 31/01/26
- Loki – Illusions made of snow and ice. Top station of the Weitmoser lift, completed from 02/01/26
- Thor – Thunder, snow, and ice. Top station of the Kasereben cable car, completed from 31/01/26
- Spider-Man – Threads of snow and ice. Top station of Stubnerkogel, completed from 01/02/26
- The Thing – Strength carved in ice. Sportgastein car park, completed from 01/02/26
