The Waldgasthof Angertal is located at 1200m on the valley floor of the Angertal and can be reached in about 10 minutes by foot from the Angertal car park. This special and cosy restaurant, which has existed for over 50 years, is run by the Windischbauer family.
The kitchen offers in summer and winter a variety of specialties and leads the quality labels "Gastein ski hood hut" and "Ski amadé wine enjoyment".
In winter you reach the Waldgasthof - located in the middle of the Angertal ski area - with the skis (at the end of the B 20 -Stubnerkogel), by cross-country skis (the trail leads directly past) or easily on foot in 10 minutes on the flat winter hiking trail from the ski center Angertal.
Various rustic and cozy rooms with tiled stove invite you to stop and enjoy.
In the summer , the Waldgasthof Angertal offers additional attractions, such as the first hunting arch parcours in the Gastein valley, the gold panning with a guarantee or the fish pond for self fishing and cooking.
