Alpine flair and coziness characterize the Grussberghütte, directly located in the Rastötzen area above Bad Hofgastein. Homemade products and specials, especially our "Kaiserschmarrn", as well as family atmosphere surrounded by beautiful mountains invite you to stay and enjoy. A rushing mountain stream attracts children to build a dam and also there are some animals around the hut.
Our comfortable hut can be reached from Bad Hofgastein, via the Kronwald-Güterweg and Annencafe, with a comfortable two-hour hike or by mountain bike through the forest.
Alternatively you can reach the Grussberghütte via the Gamskarkogel, the highest grassy mountain in Europe, in a six-hour hike from the "Grünen Baum".
